PicksDesk is free to read. We fund the work through affiliate links: when you buy something on Amazon after clicking one of our links, Amazon pays us a small commission. You pay exactly the same price.

How it works, concretely

• Every product button on this site is an Amazon link with our affiliate tag. It is marked with rel="sponsored" so search engines know it is a commercial link.
• The commission is a percentage of the price (usually between 1% and 10% depending on the category) paid by Amazon out of its margin. It never increases the price you pay.
• The tracking is anonymous for us: we only see aggregate reports (how many items were sold and in which category), never who bought what.

What this does not change

• We choose products based on the merits we can verify: specifications, verified-purchase reviews, reliability signals, price history. Not on the commission rate.
• No brand pays to appear here and no brand reviews our texts before publication. If a manufacturer sends us a product for free, we say so in the article.
• When a product is weak, we say so or we simply do not recommend it.

Prices and availability

Prices shown on this site are indicative market ranges, dated, based on public listings on the day of writing. They are not Amazon prices. The only binding price is the one displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase.

What we do not do

• No sponsored articles or paid placements.
• No Amazon prices, star ratings or review counts copied into our pages.
• No claims of hands-on testing: our analyses rely on specifications, verified reviews and expert press, and say so.
• No affiliate links in emails.
