How we chose the questions

The quiz weighs four criteria. Bed size sets the width: twin for one sleeper, queen for two; for the couch you want a heated throw, which goes over you rather than under you. The second question is about your partner: if you feel heat differently, separate controllers are a must. The third is your priority: a natural top like cotton breathes better, fine control with a selectable timer lets you run the pad longer, and if you mainly want simplicity, machine washing and a few clear settings matter most. Budget is a hard filter, so picks outside your range are dropped. Recommendations are based on manufacturer specs and verified buyer reviews; we don't physically try the products.
